Caesar Salad

1 clove | garlic, cut in half |
8 | anchovy fillets, cut up or equivalent anchovy paste |
1/3 cup | olive oil |
3 T | lemon juice, fresh |
1 t | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 t | salt |
1/4 t | dry mustard |
Freshly ground pepper | |
10 cups | romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces |
1 cup | garlic-flavored croutons |
1/3 cup | Parmesan cheese, grated |
1. Rub large wooden salad bowl with cut clove of garlic. Allow a few small pieces of garlic to remain in bowl if desired.
2. Mix anchovies or paste, oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustad and pepper in salad bowl.
3. Add romaine; toss until coated. Sprinkle with croutons and cheese; toss.
