    1 lb  ground beef 1c diced onion
    1 tbs  minced garlic 1 carrot shredded
    1 tbs  oregano 1 tsp garlic powder
1 bay leaf salt and pepper
    42 oz can  crushed tomatoes
    2 c  water 8-10 oz pasta
    1 tbs  butter 1/2 c Parmesan cheese

In a large pot brown beef, onion, garlic and carrot. Drain excess grease. Add oregano, garlic, bay leaf, and salt and pepper. Add canned tomatoes and water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 hours. Save 2 cups of sauce and freeze the rest. Add butter and Parmesan cheese to remaining sauce. Toss pasta into sauce.
