This is a Traditional Jamaican dish. It is extremely delicous because of the fresh seasonings and herb. 2 lbs. | skinless chicken thighs |
2 stalks | scallion chopped, (green onions ) |
1 lg. | onion diced |
1/4 | bell pepper diced |
2 tspn ground jamaican pimento ( jamaican allspice) | |
3 tablespoon | Jamaican curry powder, (i use blue mountain brand) |
4 sprigs | fresh thyme |
2 | all purpose white potato diced |
3 chopped cloves of garlic 1 tspn scotch bonnet pepper sauce 1 tbspn. blackpepper 1 tblspn season salt | |
11/2 cups | water |
1 gallon | size ziploc bag |
Directions:
Wash chicken and place in ziploc bag
Add all the other ingredients except water
Rub bag together to distribute flavor on chicken
Marinate for as long as overnight or cook right away
Place chicken and all the marinate in slower cooker then add the water
Cover and let cook.
