    2 sticks  butter
    1 8 oz package  sharp grated cheddar cheese
    1.5 packages  hash browns, (about 42 oz)
    2/3 lbs  velvety cheese
    2 cups  milk or half n half

Thaw out hash browns and mix them up. Melt the butter, velvety cheese, milk, and sharp cheddar cheese, then pour over the potatoes - do not stir. Let set for one hour on counter, then bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Should serve 12 people.
