    1 Cup  Shortening
    1 Cup  Sugar
    3/4 Cup  Molasses
    2 large  eggs
    2 T.  Vinegar
    5 Cups  Flour
    1-1/2 Tsp.  Baking Soda
    1/2 Tsp.  Salt
    2-3 Tsp.  Ginger
    1 Tsp.  Cinnamon
    1 Tsp.  Cloves

Method:

Cream to-gether the shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs, molasses and vinegar.
Sift to-gether flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Blend with
the shortening and eggs. Chill in fridge for three hours. Roll dough 1/2 inch
thick and cut with cookie cutter. Place on slightly greased cookie sheet and
bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK!
