Pancake Sift together: | |
1 cup | all purpose flour |
1 1/2 tablespoons | sugar |
2 teaspoons | baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | salt |
In separate bowl mix: | |
1 cup | milk |
1 capful vinegar | |
1 1/2 tablespoons | melted butter |
1 ext large beaten egg
Pour wet into dry sifted ingredients and mix till well blended. You may add a little more milk if batter appears too thick, but do this carefully. Add just a little liquid at a time as to not over thin the batter.
Pour a little oil in a heated pan, just enough to coat the bottom of the pan.
Heat pan on medium to just above medium heat. About number 6 on induction stove. Cook till you see some bubbles starting to form, and flip the pancakes. If too light, let the pancake cook a little and flip again to brown.
About 3 minutes on each side. If they get too brown, just turn the heat down a notch. How hot or how long your pan needs to cook your pancakes has to be judged by you when you are cooking. A couple adjustments may have to be made depending on your stove and pans. Bon Appetit!
