Mamou's Sweet Potato Casserole

| 6 large sweet potatoes boiled and mashed. You can use a large can of sweet potatoes and reduce recipe. | |
| 1/2 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 | packed brown sugar |
| 3 | eggs |
| 1 stick | butter |
| 1 small can | evaporated milk |
| 1 t | vanilla |
| 1 oz | Jack Daniels, (pour in jigger and let it flow over) |
| Combine all ingredients and place in a greased 9 X 13 baking dish. The casserole can be made a week or two in advance and frozen. Without Topping. Topping | |
| 1cup | chopped pecans |
| 1 cup | brown sugar |
| 1/2 t | cinnamon |
| 1 cup | flour |
| 1 stick | butter |
Melt butter and mix with all ingredients and sprinkle mix on top of casserole.
Bake 350 degrees around 40 minutes.
