    1 lb.  ground beef
    2 cloves  garlic, minced
    3-4 Tsp.  chili powder
    1/2 tsp.  ground cumin
    1 cup  onion, chopped
    16 oz  tomatoes canned, cut-up
    8 oz  tomato sauce
    6 oz  tomato paste
    1 cup  tomato juice
    16 oz  dark kidney beans, drained
    1 can  chili beans, (hot)
    1/2 tsp  dried basil
    1/4 tsp  salt
    1/4 tsp  pepper

In large saucepan, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is brown. Drain fat. Stir in everything else. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, cover, simmer for 20 minutes or longer.
