      Oatmeal Cake
Pour 2 ¼ cups boiling water over 2 cups quick oats. Add 2 sticks margarine or butter. Let stand 20 minutes. Then add:
    2 cups  white sugar
    2 cups  brown sugar
    4  whole eggs
    2 2/3 cups  flour
    2 teaspoons  baking soda
    1 teaspoon  salt
    2 teaspoons  cinnamon
    1 teaspoon  nutmeg
Stir together and bake for 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees in a greased and floured 13X9X2 pan. Topping: (after cake has baked and before cooled)
    12 tablespoons  soft margarine, 2 cups chopped nuts, 1 teaspoon vanilla,
    1 1/3 cups  packed brown sugar
    ½ cup  milk
    2 cups  coconut
