    6  eggs beaten
    6 cups  whole milk
    2 cups  sugar
    1 loaf  French bread cut into cubes
    2 Tbs  vanilla extract
    2 Tbs  brandy
Combine all ingredients and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Butter and flour a 10 x 14 inch pan. Put ingredients into pan. Bake 375 for 50 minutes. Serve warm with Rum Sauce. Rum Sauce: (doubled recipe)
    1/3 cup  butter
    1 cup  brown sugar
    2 Tbs  light corn syrup
    1/2 cup  heavy cream
    2 Tbs  Rum

Melt butter in sauce pan. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and cream. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Let cool then pour over bread pudding.
