    1 cup  water
    4  eggs
    1/2 tsp  salt
    1/2 cup  fat, (1/3 butter and 2/3 shortening)

Place water, fat, and salt in sauce pan. Boil. Add flour beating until dough leaves sides of pan. Put into a mixing bowl and add room-temperature eggs (one at a time),beating until mixture is thick and shiny and breaks from spoon, beating at least one minute after last egg.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 min. then at 350 for 20 minutes. May take one out and let stand a few minutes. If it does not collapse it is done. Cool. Cut a lid off the top and fill with sweetened flavored whipped cream or filling.
