    375 gr  a.p.
    1 T.  1 baking powder
    1 t.  baking soda
      salt
    85 gr  sugar
    1  orange, zest and juice
    1/2 t.  nutmeg
    200 gr  butter, frozen and cubed
    80 gr  currants, soaked in orange juice
    1 T  vanilla
    160 gr  buttermilk

Soak currants in o.j. Mix first 7 ingredients together. Cut in butter and mix until it resembles cornmeal. Slowly incorporate buttermilk and vanilla. Pat out dough and cut with #60 or #70 . Brush with cream and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
