INGREDIENTS
    225 g  butter, softened
    320 g  packed light brown sugar, maybe add 1/4 cup honey? or more brown sugar
    2  eggs
    10 ml  vanilla extract
    155 g  all-purpose flour
    4 g  baking soda
    7 g  baking powder
    3 g  salt
    245 g  quick-cooking oats
    120 g  chopped pecans
    200 g  dried cherries, cooked with 1 cup water
    1/4 cup  reserved cherry liquid


DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (165 degrees C). Scale out to 50 g.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Mix in the quick oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 6-10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
