4 bunches | cilantro |
4 bunches | scallions |
1 | yellow onion |
1 can | kidney beans, rinsed |
2 | dried lemon, with holes poked in them |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
1/2 tsp | turmeric |
1 cup | water |
1/4 tsp | saffron |
Salt | |
Pepper | |
1 tbsp | Shambalileh |
Saute all the veggies in olive oil and add shambalileh and saute another minute
Add the dried lemons
In a separate pan saute the onions and add turmeric when golden
Combine onions and veggies and add water
Cook for 1 hour
15 min before serving add saffron and beans
Add salt and pepper to taste
