Old Fashioned Meat Loaf

4 slices | crusts cut off bread |
1 cup | milk |
2 lbs | ground beef |
1 lg | onion chopped |
2 | eggs |
1 cup | ketchup |
1/2 cup | water |
1 cube | beef bouillion |
Preheat oven to 450
Cut off crusts from 4 slices of bread and place in large bowl Add 1 cup milk and crumble together Put 2 lbs of ground beef on top of bread
Grate or chop 1 large onion over meat Add 2 eggs mixed with a fork Use your hands to mix together Add salt to taste
Grease casserole or baking pan. Shape into loaf Brown 450 20 min
Make sauce by mixing 1 cup of ketchup with 1/2 cup water and 1 beef bouillion cube. Bring to boil Add 1/2 of this sauce over meat
reduce heat to 325 bake 1 hr
Add more sauce as it cooks
