Parmesan-Scallion Pastry Pinwheels

1 sheet | puff pastry, thawed |
1 large | egg, beaten |
3 | scallion, thinly sliced |
1/4 cup + 2 T | grated Parmesan |

Heat oven to 400. Unfold pastry and brush with egg. Sprinkle with scallions, 1/4 cup of cheese, 1/4 t salt and 1/8 t pepper. Roll lightly into a log. Freeze until firm but still sliceable, about 20 mins.
Slice into 1/4" thick rounds, place on sheet and sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake until golden brown, 12-15 mins.
