| Leslie's Whipped Shortbread | |
| 1 pound | butter at room temp |
| 1/2 cup | cornstarch |
| 3 cups | flour |
| 1 cup | icing sugar |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
In one bowl sift the dry ingred. together. In another bowl beat room temperature butter until light and creamy. Do not melt butter. Gradually beat in the sifted ingredients a bit at a time. Add vanilla and continue to beat for 10 min.
Drop by large teaspoon on baking sheets or pipe from a bag.
Bake at 350 for 12 min. Watch carefully, they should only slightly brown on the edges. Cookies will be delicate so wait until cooled to transfer. Maraschino is opt. Enjoy!
