| 1 cup | brown sugar |
| 1 cup | white sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 1 tsp | lemon juice |
| 3 cups | flour |
| 1 tsp | cream of tartar |
| 1 tsp | ginger |
| 1 tsp | cloves |
| 1 tsp | soda |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 1/4 tsp | cinnamon |
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and lemon juice.
Add dry ingredients. Mix well.
Scoop onto cookie sheet..
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
