Ingredients
    32 oz.  Hash brown potatoes
    8 oz.  Sour cream
    2 cups  shredded cheese, (8 oz. Cheddar or 12 oz. American)
    1 cup  melted butter
    1 10.5oz. Can  Cream of chicken soup
    1/4 tsp  Pepper
    1 tsp  Salt
    2 cups  crushed corn flakes

1/2 of a small onion chopped (optional)

Directions
Mix 1/2 cup melted butter, sour cream, soup, cheese, salt, (onion) and pepper. Spread hash browns in 13 x 9 pan. Spread with cheese mixture. Top with corn flake crumbs and drizzle with 1/2 cup melted butter. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
