1 teaspoon | salt |
2/3 cup | shortening |
6-7 tablespons cold water stir flour and salt together, cut in pieces of shortening, sprinkle in water by the tablespoon until all is moistened. Form into 2 balls, flour a counter surface, roll out each dough ball and then put in plate remember to cut slits in top crust Pie: | |
1 cup | sugar 2 tablespoons cornstarch |
A dash | salt |
2 pints | raspberries |
2 tablespoons | butter |
Mix sugar, butter, and cornstarch, add to berries, toss to coat fruit, pour onto bottom crust, put butter slices under top crust, seal edgesand cover them with foil (not the whole pie!) bake at 375 for 20 min, remove foil, bake 20-30 min more
