    1/3 c.  dry sherry
    1 Tb.  peeled minced gingerroot
    1 Tb.  soy sauce
    1 tsp.  honey
    1   clove garlic, minced
    1 lb.  tuna steaks, cut into 4 pieces

Combine first 5 ingredients in a 1-cup glass measure; microwave, uncovered, at HIGH 1 minute or until mixture boils. Cool slightly. Place tuna in an 11x7x11/2" baking dish; pour marinade over tuna. Cover and chill 2 hours. Remove tuna from marinade, reserving marinade. Preheat a 10" browning skillet at high for 8 minutes. Arrange tuna on hot browning skillet with thickest portion to outside of dish. Microwave, uncovered, at high for 2 minutes. Turn steaks over, and baste with marinade. Microwave at HIGH for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes; let stand, covered, 2 minutes. Serve immediately with warm marinade.
