    1 lb can  black sweet pitted cherries
    2 cups  crushed pineapple, if this isn't available, use chunks.
    6 oz  Pk cherry Jello, ( or use Chivers raspberry block)
    Pinch  salt
    13 oz  Coke

Drain both cherries and pineapple, saving the juice! Make juice up to 2 cups with water if necessary.

If using pineapple chunks, run through food processor at this stage and set aside with cherries.

Bring juice to boil and then add Jello (Chivers). Stir to dissolve and add salt.

Cool and then add Coke and the drained fruit. If using chunks

Pour into mold. Chill to set in fridge.

Serve either as a summer salad or as a dessert.
