| 1/2 cup | shortening |
| 1/2 cup | margerine |
| 3/4 cup | brown sugar |
| 3/4 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 tsp | water |
| 1 tsp | vanilla extract |
Beat until creamy.
Add 2 eggs and beat in 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp baking soda.
Slowly add 2 1/4 cups flour. Stir in nuts (opt) and 2 cups chocolate chips (or more!).
Bake 375 for 7-9minutes. (Just watch the first batch to get a good idea)
