Broccoli Cheese Noodle Soup

Ingredients
2 Tbsp.	salad oil
3/4 cup	chopped onion
6 cups	water
6 chicken flavored cubes
1 (8oz) pkg.	egg noodles
2 pkgs.	frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 tsp.	garlic powder
6 cups	milk
1 pound	Velvetta cubed, (4 cups uncooked)
	Pepper

Directions

In large saucepan, heat oil. Sauté onion over medium heat for 3 minutes. Add water and chicken flavored cubes. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally until cubes are dissolved. Gradually add noodles so that mixture continues to boil. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes. Stir in frozen broccoli and garlic powder. Cook 3 more minutes. Add milk, cubed cheese, pepper and cook until cheese melts.
