| 1 cup | butter |
| 2/3 cup | sugar |
| 1 | egg |
| 1 tsp. | vanilla |
| 2-1/2 cup | sifted flour |
Directions
PREHEAT oven to 350*F.
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Combine and add vanilla and sifted flour. Mix until ingredients are well-blended. Chill dough 3 to 4 hours before rolling. Roll out and cut.
Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until barely colored. Can be frosted and decorated or eaten plain.
