    3/4 cup(s)  boiling water
    1 cup(s)  raisins
    1 1/4 cup(s)  butter or marg, softened
    1 cup(s)  brown sugar
    2  egg
1 grated lemon rind 1 juice of one lemon
    2 1/2 cup(s)  flour
    1 tsp  baking powder
    1 tsp  soda
    1/2 tbsp  salt
    1/2 cup(s)  chopped walnuts or other
Water over raisins. Bring to boil. Remove and cool. Beat butter, sugar and egg. Stir in lemon rind, jiuce and raisin mix.
      Flour, bp ,soda and

salt together. with nuts. Add to rest. Bake in 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake
one hour at 350.
