This simple recipe can be made with a variety of frozen berries. Try a mixture, see what flavors you can create.
    1 c.  self-rising flour
    1 c.  milk
    1 1/4 c.  sugar
    1/2 c.  butter, melted
    2 c.  frozen blackberries
      vanilla ice cream, opt.
    Garnish:  fresh mint sprigs

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whish together flour, milk, and 1 cup sugar just until blended; whisk in melted butter. Pour batter into a lightly greased 11x7" baking dish; sprinkle with blackberries and remaining 1/4 cup sugar.

2. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve with ice cream, if desired. Garnish, if desired.

**2 cups frozen raspberries or blueberries may be substituted .
