    6   apples, cored, cut into halves
    2 Tb.  brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp.  cinnamon
    2 Tb.  chopped pecans
    2   unbaked 9" pie shells, cut into 12 wedges
    2 c.  sugar
    1 c.  water

Place apple half, brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans on each pastry wedge; seal. Place in a 9x13 baking dish. Bring sugar and water to a boil in saucepan; pour over dumplings. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
