1.5 cups | heavy cream |
5 Tbs. | Unsalted butter |
1 cup | grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese |
Salt | |
ground pepper to taste | |
Fresh nutmeg | |
1 lb | fresh pasta |
Bring heavy cream and butter to boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 1 minute
Add 6 Tbs of cheese and whisk until smooth about 1 minute more
Remove from heat and season with salt, pepper, and pinch of nutmeg
Boil fresh pasta with salt about 3 minutes.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over top of pasta and sauce in dish
