Ham and Pasta Casserole

2 cups | cubed ham |
1 lb | pasta, bowties work well |
1 | Onion, large, diced and sauteed |
2 tablespoons | butter |
2 cans | cream of soup, 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of brocoli |
1 soup can | milk, about 1 1/4 cups |
1 bag | frozen mixed vegetables |
2 cups | Cheddar cheese |
1 teaspoon | Cayenne Pepper, sprinkle to taste |
Salt & Pepper, to taste |
Cook pasta according to package.
Meanwhile sautee onions in butter about 5 to 10 minutes,
add frozen vegetables and ham continue to sautee another 5 minutes
add canned soups and milk until well blended
add most of the cheese until melted
add cayenne pepper and salt and pepper to taste .
add pasta
Place this mixture into a casserole pan and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts and everything is hot (approximately 15 to 30 minutes)
