Fish Pie Smoked Haddock & Cod Fish Pie | |
25g | butter |
1 | leek sliced |
30g | plain flour |
300ml | semi-skimmed milk |
125g | peeled uncooked prawns |
sea salt | |
black pepper | |
220g | smoked haddock |
220g | cod |
Topping 2 large potatoes – peeled and boiled | |
1 medium | cauliflower cooked |
30g | grated parmesan |
1 tsp | Dijon mustard |
ground black pepper |
Preheat oven to 200/400 gas 6
Melt half butter in pan anc cook leeks for 2-3 mins til soft
Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 mins.
Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk. Return to heat and cook stirring til sauce has thickened. Simmer for 5 mins.
Stir in prawns, simmer for a few more minutes and season.
Place half sauce in ovenproof dish Lay fish on top and spoon over remaining sauce.
Mash potatoes and cauliflower adding parmesan, mustard, and plenty of black pepper.
Spoon over fish
Bake for 35-40 mins until topping is brown
