Vegetable Soup

1 TB. | VEGETABLE SOUP BASE |
4 Cups | water |
1 Cup | dried pasta |
12 | asparagus tips |
½ Cup | button mushrooms |
1 TB. | butter |
Heat the VEGETABLE SOUP BASE in the water and stir occasionally until the soup base is dissolved. Bring to a boil and add the pasta. Cook for about 10 minutes, depending on the type of pasta you are using. In a small skillet, sauté the mushrooms in the butter for about 5 minutes to give the mushrooms some color. For the last 2 minutes of the pasta cooking time, add the asparagus tips. Before serving, add the mushrooms to the soup.
