Lacy Coconut Tuiles

1/3 cup | sugar |
1/3 cup | corn syrup |
1/4 cup | unsalted butter, melted |
1/2 tsp | vanilla |
Pinch | salt |
1/2 cup | unsweetened desiccated coconut |
In medium bowl, stir sugar and syrup, butter, vanilla and salt until mixed. Refrigerate 30 mins..
To bake:
Preheat oven to 350•
Line cookie sheet with parchment.
Scoop out about 1 tsp mic and roll into 1/2" ball. Place balls 4" apart.
Put remainder of dough back in fridge. It is easier to roll when cold.
Bake 6-7 mins.
Cool just until they can be lifted off sheet with a butter knife, about 1 min.
Roll on glass or place in muffin tin for tulip shape. Cool. Continue.
Makes 30.
