Banana Bread

| 1 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 cup | shortening, (1/2 butter & Crisco) |
| 2 | eggs |
| 2 cups | flour sifted |
| 1 tsp. | Baking soda |
| 1 tsp. | Baking powder |
| Salt | |
| 3 | bananas mashed |
| Nuts |
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Mix and add sifted dry ingredients. Add bananas and chopped nuts. Put in ONE loaf pan greased and floured. Bake 350 degrees for one hour.
