Herb Pancakes

1/2 c | all-purpose flour |
1/4 tsp | baking powder |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1 | egg, beaten |
3 Tbs | milk |
1 Tbs | chives, finely chopped, or use dill |
1 Tbs | oil |
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Make a well in the center. Add egg and milk to well. Gradually stir in flour and mix to a smooth batter. Stir in chives. Brush a frying pan with oil. Drop heaped teaspoonfuls of mixture into the pan. Turn and brown. Cool and serve at room temperature.
