Tangy flank steak

1 1/2 lbs | pork steak |
1-2Tbs | veg oil |
1lrg onion diced | |
4oz | diced chiles |
2Tbs | vinegar |
1 1/4tsp | chili powder |
1tsp | garlic powder |
1/2tsp | sugar |
1/2tsp | salt |
1/8 tsp | pepper |
1) Brown pork steak and place in slow cooker
2) In a skillet place onion,chiles,water,vinegar,chili and garlic powder,sugar,salt and pepper. Bring to boil stirring in brown bits from bottom pan. Pour over meat.
3) Cover and cook on low for 6-7hrs or til meat is very tender.
4) Serve over rice,pasta, or mashed potatoes.
