Hash Brown Casserole

1 (1 lb) bag | frozen hash brown potatoes |
2 cups | shredded cheese |
1 (8 oz) container | light sour cream |
1 1/2 sticks | butter |
1 bundle chopped green onions | |
3 or 4 cups | rice krispies |
1 can | cream of chicken soup |
Let hash browns get to room temperature. Mix potatoes, sour cream, soup, cheese, 1/2 sticks melted butter and onions in a large bowl. Mix well.
Spray 9 x 12 pan with Pam. Pour into casserole dish. Pour rice krispies on top of mixture. Melt remaining butter and pour over rice krispies. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until golden brown and bubbly.
