Alice's Gelatin Salad

2 Large boxes | Strawberry Jello |
1 Large can | Crushed pineapple, (drained, reserve liq) |
4 Cups | Hot water |
2 10 oz pkg | Sliced frozen strawberries, (juice too) |
1 Cup | Chopped pecans |
1 Pint | Sour cream |
3 Large | Bananas mashed, (optional) |
Directions
Put pineapple juice in a measuring cue; add hot water for a total of 4 cups. In a large bowl, dissolve jello into hot water mixture. Add remaining ingredients.
Pour half of mixture into a casserole dish. Put casserole dish in refrigerator to congeal (about 1-2 hours). DO NIT REFRIGERATE REMAINING MIXTURE -- JUST SET ASIDE.
Stir sour cream until smooth and spread on top of congealed Aladdin. Pour remaining mixture on top ... Refrigerate until congealed.
