Herbed Asparagus

1¼ lbs | fresh asparagus |
4 Tbs | butter |
1 clove | garlic, crushed or minced |
1 tsp | minced fresh chives |
1 Tbs | minced fresh parsley |
1 tsp | fresh lemon juice |
¼ tsp | salt |
1 Steam asparagus until tender. Keep warm.
2 In a small skillet, melt butter & sauté garlic over medium heat. Stir in chives, parsley, lemon juice & salt; heat thoroughly.
3 Place asparagus in serving dish & pour sauce over. Serve immediately.
