4 medium | potatoes |
2 tablespoons | butter |
Cut paper thin slices of potato, rinse in cool water. Melt butter in skillet, arrange slices 2-3 layers in skillet. Sprinkle each layer with salt and dot with butter. Cover lightly and heat until steaming. Turn heat to low and cook 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Uncover and cook until the bottom is crusty and brown. Remove from heat. Serve in 4 sections, brown side up.
