|1 12-ounce jar||herring in cream or wine sauce, drained|
|1 8-ounce package||cream cheese|
|1/2 cup||pitted ripe olives|
|1/3 cup||chopped parsley|
|1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon||curry powder|
juice of 1/2 a lemon
Place all ingredients in a blender and process at the highest speed until smooth.
Place mixture in a crock and chill. Serve on party rye with chopped olives and
hard-cooked egg. Herring Pate can also be served with raw vegetables.
