Glossy Chocolate Frosting

| 1/2 cup | sugar |
| 1 1/2 tablespoon | cornstarch |
| Mix together. | |
| 1 - 1 oz square | unsweetened chocolate, grated, (10oz?) |
| dash | salt |
| 1/2 cup | boiling water |
| 1 1/2 tablespoons | butter |
| 1/2 tsp | vanilla |
Add chocolate, salt and boiling water. Cook until thickens. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla, and spread on cake while hot for glossy frosting remains smooth and soft.
Yield: 1 loaf or 1 9" square
