    150 ml  milk
    2 tblsp  water
    1  egg yolk
    70 grams  canned sweet milk
    4 teaspoons  all purpose flour
    30 grams  butter, unsalted
    1/2 teaspoon  vanilla
French toast:
    4 slices  white bread
    2  eggs
    4 tablespoons  milk
    1/4 tsp  salt
      Honey
      maple syrup, alternative

1. Start by making a custard: combine sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, add it to the flour in a bowl and and beat well. Set aside.

2. Put the milk, plain water with fresh butter into a pot and heat until hot (but not to boiling). Then pour half of mixture from from the pot of hot milk into the mixture from step 1 and beat together.

3. Pour this combined mixture back into the pot of hot milk. Bring to boil.

4. Continuously beat, until it thickens. Remove the pot from the heat and add the vanilla.

5. Cover with plastic film and refrigerate for 4 hours until cool.

6. Cut the crusts off the bread.

7. Add eggs, milk and salt in a bowl and beat well.

8. Spoon the custard onto the bread, especially in the middle.

9. Take another piece of bread and press them together, using your fingers to press the edges closed with egg mixture. Leave set for 1 minute.

10. Put the pan on the stove to table 2 oil heating. Place the pastry in a fry over medium - low until crispy brown. Golden brown on both sides
