Custardy Popovers

2-3 tbsp | melted butter for the pan |
2-4 large | eggs |
1 1/4 cup | milk |
1 1/4 cup | flour |
1/2 tsp | salt |
Preheat oven to 375. Brush inside of 12 muffin cups with melted butter.
Beat together eggs and milk. Add flour and salt. Beat until reasonably blended with a few lumps.
Fill each muffin cup 1/2 to 2/3 full bake 25 minutes (2eggs), 30 minutes 3 eggs, 35 minutes 4 eggs. Don't open the oven.
Remove from the pan immediately, prick with a fork. Serve asap.
