Garlic Brown Rice

1 cup | brown basmati rice |
2.5 cups | chicken broth or stock |
1 tbsp. | butter, (optional) |
1 clove | garlic, minced |
1 tsp. | ground cumin |
1 tsp. | paprika, (sweet) |
1 tsp. | black pepper |
1 tsp. | salt |
Directions
Combine rice, butter, and chicken broth in medium sauce pan, covered, bring to a boil. Turn down heat and let simmer, covered, for 50 minutes, stirring once or twice. Add minced garlic, paprika, cumin, pepper and salt to taste. Fluff with a fork and serve!
