Asparagus with Prosciutto Chips

3 oz | prosciutto, thinly sliced |
1 1/2 lb | asparagus |
1 Tbs | olive oil |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1/4 tsp | black pepper, feshly ground |
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place proscuitto in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake until crisped, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a plate and let cool. Bring a large saucepan of water to boil. Add asparagus and cook until tender, 3-5 minutes. Drain and transfer to a bowl of ice water. Drain and pat dry. Cut into 1-2" pieces. Transfer to a bowl and add oil, salt, and pepper and toss. Break prosciutto into pieces and sprinkle over asparagus.
