1 cup | sugar |
3 tblsp | cocoa |
2 heaping tblsp | flour |
Pinch | salt |
3 | egg yolks |
2 cups | milk |
1 (9 inch) | baked pie shell |
In saucepan mix sugar, cocoa, flour and sugar. Add a little milk and mix well. Stir in lightly beaten egg yolks. Add rest of milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Cook about 5 minutes and pour into cooled pie shell. Top with meringue. | |

Beat egg whites until foamy, slowly add sugar, beating until stiff. Spread on pie and brown 400 F for 5 minutes.
