GARLIC BUTTER ASPARAGUS SKILLET

1 cup | dry Orza Pasta |
1 lb. | fresh Asparagus, cut into 2 inch lengths |
4 Tablespoons | salted butter |
3 cloves | garlic, minced |
1/4 cup | grated Parmesan Cheese |
2 Tablespoons | milk |
1 Tablespoon | fresh snipped parsley |
Salt | |
pepper to taste | |
Parmesan cheese for garnish | |
10 | cherry tomato halves, optional |
LETS MAKE IT
Prepare orzo according to the box directions. Add the asparagus pieces to the orzo the last 2 minute of cooking. Remove from heat and drain. In the meantime, prepare the garlic butter sauce. Add butter to a skillet and melt over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook for 4-5 minutes until lightly browned and fragrant. Add orzo and asparagus to the skillet; stir in the cheese, milk,parsley, salt, peppers & tomatoes. ( if using). Cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat . Garnish with Parmesan cheese. Serve. Serves 4.
