Caramel Sauce

1c | butter |
2 c | sugar |
2 t | lemon juice |
1c | whipping cream |
Melt butter in 3 qt saucepan over med heat, add sugar and lemon juice, cook, stirring constantly with wooden spoon, 8-10 mins or until it turns light golden brown.
Gradually add cream, cook, stirring constantly 1-2 mins or until smooth.
(mixture will bubble and spatter when adding cream).
Remove from heat and cool 30 mins.
