Pumpkin Pie (E.D. Smith)

|To make 1 Pie|
|1/2 can (797 ml.)||pure Pumpkin|
|1 cup||packed brown sugar|
|1/2 tsp.||Ground nutmeg|
|1/2 tsp.||Ground cinnamon|
|1/4 tsp.||Ground ginger|
|3/4 cup 10%||cream|
Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl. Add pumpkin,sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt until well combined. Blend in milk. Pour filling into pie shells. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes until pie is set or when a knife inserted comes out clean.
Double all ingredients for 2 Pies.
